Public records. Companies, not people.
Terminal is built from public records and publishes company-level data only.
Public source
- The registry data is the FAA Releasable Aircraft Database, a public file the FAA publishes itself.
- Tickers come from SEC filings. Import data comes from the U.S. Census Bureau.
- No material non-public information. Every input is a public record.
No individuals named
- Aircraft registered to individuals or co-owners are counted in totals and left out of every aircraft-level table.
- Aircraft whose owner records the FAA withholds are left out of every aircraft-level table, with their history.
- No street address appears in any table.
- Going Dark is published as counts only. Cells under 5 are hidden.
- Every export is scanned for personal data. A finding stops the export.
Company-level data only
- Terminal sells data about companies and their fleets.
- A holder is named only when it is an organization.
- Banks and trustees are held as lessors, not counted as owners.
